Bike rental policy
Waiver
Cancellation
Cancellation of your reservation up to 60 days before
any tour start date will grant you a full refund of any monies
paid less a 150€ non-refundable service fee. If you cancel
your reservation within the 60 day period prior to the tour
start day there will be no refund of the reservation deposit.
Refunds of total price paid within 60 days will be as follows:
Cancel within the period from the 59-30 day period prior to
the ride and you will receive a 55% refund and if you cancel
your reservation within the 29-15 day period prior to the
start date of the ride you will receive a 25% refund of total
monies paid. No refund will be given for cancellation during
the final two weeks (14 days) prior to the tour start date,
or at any time after this date in the future. You may however
use up to 40% of these funds toward another one of our tours.
Cancellations should be submitted in writing by either national
or international mail or electronic mail (email) and cancellation
will be valid from date received by Blue Coast Bikes Lda.
Blue Coast Bikes Lda. reserves
the right to cancel any tour or related activity. In the rare
event of a cancellation, a full refund will be awarded and
this shall serve as settlement of any transaction between
all parties involved.
All accommodations and activities
including tours and any other social activity or aspect of
such activities are hereby subject to change in appearance,
aspect, date and thematic attribute by Blue Coast Bikes Lda.,
at any time before during or after any tours and or activity
or program.

Bike
rental policy
When you sign up for one of our extended rides your
price includes bicycle and helmet rental. Clients are responsible
for taking care of the bicycle while they are in possession
of the bike. Any damage above and beyond normal wear and tear
will be held to the responsibility of the client user to pay
for. Degree of damage to remain up to the determination and
discrepancy of Blue Coast Bikes Lda. We understand that we
are using the bicycles for off-road purposes and that wear
will occur. We expect that under normal circumstances of riding
within the limits of our tours you should use the bicycle
for it's intended purpose and have fun while doing so. If
abusive and excessive and perhaps dangerous behavior causes
excess damage outside of these boundaries those responsible
will be charged for the damage. Damage amounts are left to
the discrepancy and determination of Blue Coast Bikes Lda.
and are subject to any currency exchange rates at the time
of charge to client. In agreeing with these terms and by signing
your acceptance, the client is also agreeing to the bicycle
damage waiver policy as detailed above and will agree to pay
any monies to their full amount as determined by Blue Coast
Bikes, Lda should the bicycle or any property of Blue Coast
Bikes Lda. be damaged to the point of decided negligence.

Waiver
Blue Coast Bikes Lda. is not responsible for and
will not grant refunds for: Problems with accommodations or
travel/ transportation not included in our tour, arrival or
departure changes in flights, or any other service issued
which is not included on our tours in addition to these, medical
dietary/ hospitalization/ insurance of travel/ natural disaster/
terrorism international threat or act of violence or civil
or international unrest/ any unforeseen circumstance out of
the control of Blue Coast Bikes Lda. Acceptance of terms of
a physical and outdoor activity and risks associated with
such activities / strike or work disobedience are the sole
responsibility of the purchaser for insurance and liability.
BlueCoastBikes, Lda. Is insured and licensed to the required
amounts under the laws which govern this particular type of

I accept the terms as put forth
by Blue Coast Bikes Portugal and agree to all risks and dangers
as associated with such outdoor physical activities, and I
am further aware of the risks and dangers to my own physical
well being and acknowledge that I have both taken liability
and consulted a licensed physician about any and all concerns
and or pre-existing medical conditions that I have and am
aware of.
I acknowledge that I and or my
family members are participating in an outdoor activity and
hereby release any employee, trustee, or owner of Blue Coast
Bikes Lda. of any responsibility or liability claims both
now and in the future which I may have against them as a result
of my participation in the activities offered by the Blue
Coast Bikes Portugal company.
I accept and acknowledge that I
am taking part in an outdoor activity which requires of me
both travel and physical activity within surroundings that
may be foreign to me. I further agree that by participating
in activities offered by Blue Coast Bikes Lda. I am assuming
the liability for risks involved with any dangers associated
with the acts of travel in general and that of any outdoor
activity and that I assume responsibility for injury, illness,
or death incurred by the participation in activities related
to and or using public transportations, conveyances, roadways,
highways, and sea faring methods of transportation, by hiking,
walking, riding a bicycle, or any other means of conveyance.
I further agree to all safety information provided to me both
written and orally, and agree to follow all safety procedures
as put forth by Blue Coast Bikes Lda. and that should I not
follow these safety precautions I forfeit my right to any
claim of responsibility and liability against Blue Coast Bikes
Lda. or any of it's employees, trustees, or owners. I acknowledge
that Blue Coast Bikes Lda. has reserved the right to terminate
my participation in any or all of their events should I fail
to follow their safety guidelines whereby I endanger myself
or anyone associated with the event in which I am participating.
Should my participation be terminated by any employee or Director
of Blue Coast Bikes Lda. at their discretion, I forfeit any
monies paid to Blue Coast Bikes Lda. I agree to wear a bicycle
helmet at all times as well as any other required safety device
or clothing. Should I fail to do so I forfeit any liability
of Blue Coast Bikes Lda. And their staff.
Blue Coast Bikes Lda. is not responsible
for any expenses incurred to my person or any member of my
participating party due to travel related or any other reason
for expense outside of the covered conditions of the tours
offered. I agree that I have purchased my own form of travel
insurance which will cover any loss to personal property,
illness, injury, or death or expense incurred during the tour
and while in participation of any Blue Coast Bikes Lda. event,
as well as before and after such events. I also understand
that I am at the will of any medical services within the area
of participation, and that I shall provide any pertinent medical
history if needed in the case of an emergency, as well as
any medications which I may need for existing or recurring
conditions.
It is of my acknowledgement and
I give full right to Blue Coast Bikes Lda. to use any photographic
or other recorded material taken during my participation in
their event, for any promotional, or commercial and marketing
purpose in the future.
I have read any and all information
provided by Blue Coast Bikes in regards to tour and activity
information, cancellation and refund policy, safety information,
and any related travel information as provided by them and
agree to all terms and understand them completely. I acknowledge
that should I have further questions regarding these terms
I may contact Blue Coast Bikes Lda. at any time. I acknowledge
that this is an signed contract between myself and Blue Coast
Bikes Lda. and a release of liability, and I sign this under
my own accordance and will. My acknowledgement and agreement
to these terms put forth by Blue Coast Bikes Lda. on the registration
page as required of me by Blue Coast Bikes Lda. shall hereby
serve as my signature waiving all responsibility on the behalf
of Blue Coast Bikes Lda. as mentioned in the above terms.
